FESTIVAL 36

Over June and July 2023, Festival 36 presented a series of exciting events, which took place across the Solihull Borough to celebrate Shakespeares' Folio coming to The Core Theatre! From books to Bards, and from sonnets to screenings, Solihull was jam packed full of Shakespearean celebrations!

As part of these celebrations, Solihull CEP sent 36 bards in 36 schools to perform pop up monologues throughout the school day. Our actors would appear all over; in chemistry for a bit of Richard 3rd, in Maths for a bit of Romeo and Juliet, or in Geography for a bit of Midsummer Nights Dream!
