Across 16th and 17th October, The Core Theatre are proud to present the very first Short is Beautiful Film Festival in association with IMA Festival. This exciting new short film festival will award filmmakers from the West Midlands, giving both new and established artists the chance to try out new ideas, concepts, and ways of working, with a programme of industry panels and screenings. There will be an accompanying gallery exhibition held in The Courtyard Gallery at The Core from 4-18 October, which is free to view.
Solihull CEP are incredibly excited to be supporting the young filmmakers category, offering young people aged 18 and under the opportunity to showcase their work to a panel of professionals and public audiences.
We want to encourage any budding filmmakers in our CEP schools to give it a go and submit their work!
Submissions can either be sent directly to us via WeTransfer, or through the submission portal on Film Freeway.
All submissions must be 20 mins or less. The winner will receive a £50 voucher.
